Advancing aviation through engineered fuel performance technologies.

Who We Are

OMSTAR Aviation is focused on advancing fuel performance within modern aviation systems. We develop fuel-soluble lubrication technology designed to integrate directly within aviation fuels—enhancing efficiency, protecting critical components, and supporting consistent performance across real-world operating conditions.

Our work is grounded in engineering principles, operational understanding, and a commitment to aligning with the standards and requirements of the aviation industry.

Our Mission

To improve the performance, reliability, and efficiency of aviation systems by engineering solutions that work within the fuel itself.

Leadership

OMSTAR Aviation is led by Joshua Borne, whose background is rooted in hands-on aviation fuel systems operations, maintenance, and training across both military and commercial environments.

He served over a decade in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Fuel Systems Craftsman and Quality Assurance Evaluator, working on F-15, F-16, HH-60G, and C-130 aircraft. His experience includes fuel system repair, inspection, and validation, as well as managing hydrazine systems, hazardous materials programs, and confined-space operations under strict technical and safety standards .

Joshua has also served as a Subject Matter Expert supporting Boeing International Training Division and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, developing technical training systems, instructional courseware, and maintenance procedures aligned with engineering and operational requirements .

His background combines operational execution, quality assurance, and technical training—providing a foundation for developing fuel technologies designed for real-world aviation systems.

Founder Story

OMSTAR Aviation was founded on a simple but critical insight: the performance and reliability of aviation systems can be improved from within the fuel itself.

Joshua Borne’s career spans both hands-on aviation fuel systems and large-scale business operations. After over a decade working in aircraft fuel systems, quality assurance, and technical training across military platforms, he transitioned into building and scaling national organizations—leading partnerships, operations, and revenue strategy across complex, multi-market environments.

As a Managing Partner at Pylon 7on7 Football, Joshua has led executive operations, sponsorship strategy, and national event expansion—securing partnerships with global brands such as Nike Jordan Brand, Wilson, Met-Rx, PRIME, United Sports Brands and generating multi-million-dollar value across a nationwide platform .

This combination of technical aviation experience and real-world business execution shaped the foundation of OMSTAR Aviation—bringing together engineering insight, operational discipline, and the ability to build and scale solutions within complex systems.

The result is a company focused not just on innovation, but on delivering practical, scalable advancements in aviation fuel performance.
